Tatyana Gets a Job
Tatyana loves hamburgers! she thought she would try out Johnny Rockets.
She walked right in and decided she loved the place.

Another Day in Colorado
We all traveled to Telluride to ski yesterday. Tatyana loved the ride on the ski lift and did great with her first snowboarding lesson.
When we got back to the cabin we had some good news regarding Francisco. Mountain climbers had made it to the eagle's nest. Now let's hope they get him safely down.

Flat Francisco Spotted
Flat Francisco has been spotted by the Montezuma County Sheriff helicopter. Now to plan for the rescue.

The Snowman
Francisco is missing. The sheriff is on the case. They have had trouble with this eagle before and are on their way to his nest.
In the meantime, Tatyana and Linda built a snowman before the hot sun melts all the snow.

The Eagle
More bad news for Francisco! While out playing in the front of the cabin he was spotted by a bald eagle. The next thing we knew....he was grabbed by the eagle. I will call the Sheriff and have them send out a search party. I am very worried. It is cold. Good thing he has his new coat. I imagine the eagle has a warm nest.

Shopping
We made a shopping trip today to get these kids some coats. Now we can really play in the snow.
More Snow and Excitement
More snow last night. We went outside for a bit and Francisco spotted tracks in the snow!
Then Tatyana spotted the coyote! "Stay back Tatyana!" everyone yelled.
This morning there was about 6 inches on fresh powder on the ground. Linda made snow angels. Then Francisco and Tatyana made some too. "Let's go inside and get warm!"

SNOW
It started to snow when Jeff and Francisco were chopping wood.
Monday morning snow covered the ground. Tatyana didn't want to shovel!
Arrived in Colorado
We arrived in Colorado Saturday around noon. These poor flat children are not dressed for the weather. I guess we will have to go shopping for coats and boots. Some snow on the ground....but more to come.

On the Road
On Friday we left Laguna Beach heading to Colorado. We headed northeast through riverside and on to Barstow. there we got on Interstate 40 and headed east.
Gas prices very high!!!!. I wonder when they will peak!
Oh! we saw a spaceship near Kingman, Arizona. I hope they don't capture Tatyana.
We stopped in Flagstaff, Arizona for the night. We had a great dinner.
Our waitress, Alexandra, was very good.
