A call from a friend alerted me to this postcard on Ebay. The front depicts Main Beach in Laguna Beach.  On the back a a sweet note to a woman in Ohio from..........Jeff's grandfather in 1908!!!!!!!!

Moving On To Next Project

Started my next quilting project over the weekend. I made 25 of these blocks. All are different. All made from batiks. Twenty one of the blocks will be shared with my quilting friends and I will receive 21 blocks from them. Pattern is called Hanging Gardens.

Our weekend also included a BBQ with Sally and Sky and Sky's father, Tom. 

Counting the Days

I am counting the days until we get back to the Colorado house. This is the new sign at the end of our road. You all will be able to find us. We are looking forward to seeing the Kleppers and the Lyons very soon.

Digging

I have been busy the last few days digging up old relatives. Really they are from Jeff's side of the family........It must be where he gets his good looks. At any rate...I have added a bunch to the Family Tree. Peter and Sarah came to Orange County around 1870. They are Jeff's 3rd great grandparents.

I thought I had better edit this post. Old Mother Hubbard did not go to her cupboard to fetch  the poor dog a bone.  I bought this at an antique store and I am refinishing it. Rubbed down with oil.....added plate racks. Next time in Dolores I will take some dishes so I can show it off.
