Let It Snow

I know if you have to live with snow day in and day out all winter is a drag.....but when we get here for such short periods of time the snow is amazing.

And while we are here in the elements...our daughters are in NYC. Molly is still teaching at PS 87...but now she has taken another position...teaching a graduate class at Bank Street College. Sally just traveled to NYC to cook at the James Beard House. Amazing girls!

Back in Colorado

We arrived in Colorado on Thursday. Friday morning we had an amazing site! Otters! A once common animal in the Colorado river system, intrusions on their habitat caused their disappearance within the state. Thankfully, through the efforts of the Colorado Division of Wildlife, river otters have since been reintroduced into select Colorado waterways.  Jeff took this picture.

Jeff and I went to Knott's Berry Farm to see re dedication of the train there. It was originally from Colorado and probably one driven by Linda's grandfather Croonenberghs.

Only ride we could handle was the mine train.

Jeff got in trouble at the saloon!
