Open House

Jeff and I took a little spur of the moment trip. Had a great time. We had not been here in a very long time.

Today Jeff and I took a hike above Laguna to a reservoir. I am sure my legs will be sore tonight. We joped we could see whales from up on the hill, but not luck. Oh well, the view was wonderful.

The Garden Ladies

This shows sthe border and the binding of the quilt/tablecloth. Making this binding was a new experience for me.

This is an example of the topiary. It is made by machine as well as applique.

Now on to a new project! Houses!

March 20, 2010 was National Quilting Day. My friend Claudia had a party for us to celebrate and share. The quilts were beautiful and the food was great. This year's exchange was called "Garden Ladies " and the second was "Black and White." It is always so amazing to see how each quilter creates her project. These photos do not do the quilts justice. I am so glad to be a part of this talented group of women!

I had a wonderful time in Florida!
